Ken Izumi, 76, died on March 22, 2008 at Kaiser Hospital in Redwood City.

He is survived by his children, Daniel Izumi, Ronald Izumi, Valerie Izumi and Laura Chan; six grandchildren; sisters, Mitsue Sano and Hideko Hamada; a brother, Hideki Izumi.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 4, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Schneider & Sullivan Funeral Home, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5, at 5 p.m. at Sturge Presbyterian Church, 25 S. Humboldt St., San Mateo.
