Michi Tanaka passed away peacefully on May 19, 2008 in her home in San Francisco at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband Osamu.

She is survived by her sons Dennis (Yukiko), Roger (Marilyn) of San Francisco; and her daughter, Audrey (Victor Iwamura) of San Mateo; grandchildren, Wesley, Roland, Bryan, Gregory, Jeffrey, Yumi Tanaka Hu, Dina Iwamura-Sakai, Alyson and Todd Iwamura; great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Jayden, Evalyn, Emma and Noah, Alex and Benjamin.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at Christ United Presbyterian Church, 1700 Sutter St., San Francisco.
