Basketball Clinic With Lindsey Yamasaki
Posted inThe Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) presents a basketball clinic with Lindsey Yamasaki on Monday, May 18, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the JCCCNC Nisei Community Hall, 1840 Sutter St., San Francisco.
Join the former professional basketball player as she teaches individual drills to help improve your game. Yamasaki was a two-sport athlete (basketball and volleyball) at Stanford University prior to being drafted in 2002 by the WNBA’s Miami Sol. She has also played with the New York Liberty and San Antonio Silver Stars.
She has been a member of the JCCNC’s staff and is currently the head coach of the Academy of Art University’s women’s basketball team.
The clinic will be limited to the first 40 youth (age 11-14). The cost is $15 for JCCCNC members, $25 for non-members.
