Joe Hideichi Moriguchi, 96, of San Francisco died on Aug. 25, 2008 at 8:55 a.m. at Manorcare Health Services in Citrus Heights. He was born in Hyogo Prefecture and was affiliated with Jodo Shinshu Shinran Kai.

Surviving are: wife, Aiko Moriguchi; three sons, Stanley (Doretha) Moriguchi, Norman Y. (Jean) Moriguchi and Edwin (Hong) Moriguchi; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. at Ashley & McMullen Mortuary, Geary Boulevard at 6th Avenue, San Francisco.
