Mrs. Matsuko Ishida passed away early in the morning on July 26, at the age of 76. Born in Yokohama, she lived her married life enjoying the company of many of her dear friends in San Francisco. She spent the last few years living with her son and his family in Torrance, Calif. Her family is very grateful for all their friendship and support.

She is survived by a son, William Ishida, his wife and children.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 21 at the Sokoji-Soto Zen Buddhist Temple, 1691 Laguna St., San Francisco, CA 94115. Her ashes will be interred at the Japanese Cemetery in Colma.
