Tiyo Toyomi Yoshimura died on Friday, June 6, 2008. He was 87 years old. He was born in Dinuba, Calif. on Oct. 28, 1920.

He leaves a wife, Misuye Yoshimura; daughter, Vicky Haru Yoshimura; a younger brother, Joe Yoshimura; and many nephews and nieces.

Memorial service was held Thursday, June 12, at 11 a.m. at Alameda Buddhist Temple, 2325 Pacific Ave., Alameda, CA 94501.
